Taking care of each other as a community.

Who answers the phone?
Neighbors, peers and community members who volunteer their time: not therapists or professionals. Volunteers are here not just to listen, but to connect with you as a peer. Please remember that connection is a 2-way street.

How can I get trained to volunteer?
Completion of SeekHealing’s Listening Training course is required to volunteer on the Listening Line. Scroll down to find upcoming training dates.

Get support, or give support?

Anyone can take Listening Training.

Listening Training is a professionally facilitated training course to level-up the communication and active listening skills you bring to all areas of your life. Successful completion of the course will also qualify you to volunteer on the WNC Listening Line. Not just a training, the course provides a deep experience of self-care & reflection, especially in the in-person retreat format.

Donation for registration is suggested, but not required.

Please go to seekhealing.org/listening-training to register.
